The Bike Tour Festival
The Bike Tour includes an all-day Festival at Blakely Borough Recreational Complex that is free and open to the public. The Festival runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Bike Tour riders, their families and friends, and members of the community are all welcome to join the fun! The Bike Tour Festival offers live music, delicious food, demonstrations about bike safety and repair, vendors showcasing the best of outdoor recreation in Northeastern Pennsylvania, a variety of exhibits by local nonprofit groups, and a tent packed with dozens of raffle baskets. Best of all – the Festival is FREE! Don’t miss it!

Vendor and Exhibitor Information/Application Form
The Festival is a great venue to promote your business, service, or product, particularly if you are involved in outdoor recreation, fitness, or health and wellness activities. The Festival also welcomes specialty food vendors and artists to promote their products. Nonprofit environmental, cultural, and historic organizations are very welcome, as well.
Rates:

  • Nonprofit groups and government agencies - $10 for 10’x10’ space
  • Businesses and corporations - $50 for 10’x10’ space, or $75 for 10’x20’ space

Food & Beverages
Registered riders and volunteers are entitled to a complimentary continental breakfast, water and snacks at the Station Stops, and a voucher for lunch at the Festival. All of the food and beverages offered at the Festival to the public are available on a cash basis. So be sure to tuck a few dollars in your pocket so that you can enjoy everything that the Festival has to offer.  

Kids’ Area
The Festival has a special area just for kids with activities and games, including face painting, a juggler, the balloon man, and much more.

Bike Racks
We want our Bike Tour riders to enjoy the Festival with peace of mind about their bikes. Bike racks will be available at the Festival so that riders have a safe and secure location to lock up their bikes.

Dog Policy
Sorry, dogs are not allowed at the Festival. Blakely Borough Recreational Complex has a strict “no dog” policy, so please leave your pet at home. Feel free to enjoy the Lackawanna River Heritage Trail with your dog another day.

Restrooms
Restrooms, including handicap-accessible facilities, are located throughout Blakely Borough Recreational Complex. Please ask the nearest staff member if you need assistance.

Parking
Free parking is available in the lot of the Valley View Stadium, accessible from the 800 block of Main Street in Peckville. The parking area is within an easy walk of Blakely Borough Recreational Complex. Please follow the directions of the parking attendants.

Lost & Found
Lost items are collected at the Information Center at the main pavilion in Blakely Borough Recreational Complex. All items are available for collection until the end of the Tour day. Afterwards, items are kept at the office of the Lackawanna Heritage Valley, 213 South 7th Ave, Scranton, PA. Please call (570) 963-6730 ext. 8200 to identify your item and make arrangements for collection.

First Aid & Medical Help
First aid is available at the Information Center at Blakely Borough Recreational Complex. Trained medical personnel and ambulances are available in the event of a serious medical incident.
